The Chateau at Rochefort-en-Terre, Brittany, was the home of the Baltimore painters Alfred and Trafford Klots. Under the sponsorship of Trafford's widow, Isabel, the Chateau was the site of a residency program for American artists. James Hennessey was a resident painter in 1998 and 2003. He was the Director of the program in 2006 and 2007.
